Fall Schedule
Our Fall Schedule will begin on Tuesday, September 6. The group changes will be made that week. Many of our RHR families will be making changes in their daycare schedules. If you haven’t done so already, please fill out a Schedule Change Request form found on the front counter. We would like to take this opportunity to say good-bye to those families that will be leaving us. We have enjoyed you as part of our RHR family and would love to see you in the future. Keep in mind to use RHR for drop-in care for school age children during the summer and non-school days.
Field Trips
During the school year, every preschool child is expected to participate in all field trips as part of the preschool curriculum. If a field trip is on a day when your child does not normally attend RHR, he/she may attend the trip.(No extra tuition is charged for the field trip time, but we do appreciate volunteer chaperones). The fee for field trips is charged quarterly and due before the first trip for that quarter. Each child wears a blue RHR t-shirt. If you need to purchase one, see Tammy or Carol. The cost is $10.00. More detailed information will come to you soon.
Family Night
A Family Night is being planned for Thursday, September 22, beginning at 6:00pm. There will be a Pizza Buffet for $4 per person along with some entertainment for families to enjoy. Please set aside this date for FOOD and FUN at RHR. More information will be available in early September.
REFERRAL BONUS (Tuition Rebate)
We realize that our former and present parents are our best references in bringing new clients to Rocking Horse Ranch. As an encouragement and a thank you to our present families, we would like to continue to offer a Rebate of $100 toward your child’s tuition when your Referral family has completed four weeks of childcare services with us. We appreciate your continued support in helping to keep Rocking Horse Ranch a viable business in the Prior Lake and Savage area. At the present time, we have childcare openings in all age groups.
Tuition Payments by Direct Deposit
You may now make your child’s tuition payment directly from your bank account to RHR. The tuition payment can be set up through “bill pay” at your bank. Please request Rocking Horse Ranch’s account number from Lisi or Tammy so that your payment will be credited to the correct account.
Door Code
It is very exciting to have our new door in working order. Please remember that the code is *. There are some keychain reminders located at the front desk. Please ask a staff member if you have any questions.
Scholastic Book Orders
Our first book order will be due Friday, September 9. Please fill out one check payable to Scholastic Book Club. Drop-off locations are in the Arabian and downstairs Lunchroom. You will find forms in your child’s locker or mailbox very soon. Reading to your child is a great start for letter/word recognition, cognitive development, etc…
Parent Advisory Board
Our next meeting will be held sometime in September. All parents are welcome to attend these meetings and if interested can join to be a part of the board. We discuss questions and concerns, provide parent input on future plans and policies, and serve as a parent liaison. If interested, please see Lisi or Tammy.
